Foxcat Music Company Lesson Terms and conditions

Thank you for registering your child for music lessons with Foxcat  Music Company! Below you can find the terms and conditions of the  lessons. By paying for your lessons, you agree to the following  conditions.

Foxcat Music Company will provide your child  with a minimum number of lessons per half-term. If your child starts  their lessons the first week of a new half-term, this may be 6 or 7  lessons depending on the amount of available weeks, and the payment will  reflect this. Also, if your child starts further into a half-term, this  will then be reduced alongside the payment accordingly. The payment and  amount of lessons will be outlined in your enrolment email.

Foxcat Music Company will teach all lessons on the School grounds, during  School time. All equipment will be provided, and your child will not  need to bring anything with them. If they wish to bring their instrument  to School, this is not a problem, but Foxcat Music Company and it’s  teachers are not responsible for the property.

Lessons will only occur during School term time.

If  you change your mind and wish to cancel the lessons, we would be very  sad to see you go, but understand sometimes things don’t work out. In  order to cancel, a full terms notice must be emailed to Foxcat Music  Company via info@foxcatmusiccompany.co.uk no later than 2 weeks into a  new term, to stop lessons at the end of that full school term. Any later  and your lessons will stop at the end of the following term.

Should  a lesson be missed by the Teacher, a catch up lesson will be provided,  or an alternative teacher will provide the scheduled lesson.

Unless  the teacher is absent, missed lessons will be chargeable. Lessons will  not be refunded or rearranged in the case of short-term illness, school  trips or planned/unplanned absence (including non-emergency closures  with less than 48 hours’ notice).

Payment must be  received before your child’s first scheduled lesson, otherwise this may  cause a delay and your child’s lessons may be unable to begin.

Foxcat Music Company should be made aware of any additional education or medical needs your child may have.

Whilst  the lessons take place on School grounds, all admin (lesson schedules,  payments, timetables) will be direct with Foxcat Music Company.

We have due regard to the Data Protection Act when in possession of parent and student contact and address details.

All  Foxcat Music Company teachers hold a valid enhanced DBS check, and valid Public Liability Insurance via The Musicians Union.

All Foxcat Music Company teachers follow your School’s procedures and policies.

Foxcat Music Company takes no responsibility for any damage to personal property in or out of lesson time.

Foxcat Music Company teachers adhere to the safeguarding expectations of your  school and participate in associated training when needed.

Lessons are taught throughout the school day, which means your child will miss  some of their normal lessons. The teachers are also aware of this.

Lesson timetables will rotate each half term to ensure the same lesson is not  missed. Some lessons may be scheduled before school or during break  times if requested. Timetables are emailed to parents at the beginning  of the term.

We aim to provide at least 1 concert per academic year. This will be arranged with the School, and parents will be given due notice so they can attend. The concert will be in place of your child's lesson that week.
